The Hotel staff was really nice and pleasent, the placement of Hotel was perfect, very close to reach moust famous places in London! Thankyou for sweet service! ;)
Everything was acceptable according to price, so, no complains.
I was a bit worried b4 a got there as the reviews about the hotel were so bad saying how rough it was but when we got there was shocked as it was lies the hotel was cheap and cheer full great value 4money done the job 4us as we had a night out close by when in the same area will sure use again
Not really u pay 4what u get and it was value 4money
Cheap, Clean, Staff Pleasant. As a hub, The bus routes in this area will get you to pretty much any part of London with little fuss. The next morning I walked around this area, I found it to be an interesting corner of London with unusual shops and what looked like good pubs too.
The staff did not have my reservation and tried to charge me more than the price set.
The bathroom stank of cigarette smoke. The rest of the room did too, but not as much. Weird humming noise. Overall unsatisfactory.
dirty hotel, bad service. booked for 2 night but left hotel after 1 night
the bedroom is good and clean
the localization to underground.
Bath was tiny, bed was very wobbly
I thought the hotel was dirty. It looked as if it was falling down. I didnt have a shower as the bath was looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in months. The bed squeeked, was hard and uncomfortable. Because of all of this I decided not to have breakfast. I would deffinately recomend people to avoid this hotel. I think it was a disgrace for them to charge £60 per night for a double room. I would want to be paid to stay there.
Being asked if 'I wanted business' by the foyer girls
It was good to reach with different buses.
It was a very small room and very dark. Just a horrible room. It was really good to know that we have just to sleep in this hotel. Moreover the bathroom smells like a cowhouse.
There was no hot water for two of the three days despite numerous requests and complaints and found the staff to be not helpful
The room is clean and tidy, and it isn´t too small. The beds are okey.
The breakfast is okey, but it isn´t a really complete breakfast( no ham, no eggs, no sausages...). Outside looks a bit old, but inside the rooms are completely okey. The mainly problem is the distance, you have 45 minutes walking until the Big Beng, but there are a lots of buses (2 pounds each other). It is in Camberwell, a place of working people, with some good pubs but actually a quiet place, and it isn´t appear at the touristic guide( 20 minutes walking from elephant and castle, or 5 by bus)
Based on the earlier reviews, we did not have great expectations. However the hotel standard was very much acceptable. This is a cheap hotel, but you get a lot for your money. The rooms varied in size, but it was clean and the beds were good. This hotel is in a very interesting part of the city, with a lot of cheap restaurants and some very charming pubs. It is easy to get around by bus, and they stop all the time right uotside the hotel.
The breakfast was not very interesting. Toast, marmelade, cheese and cereals was about the only thing to eat.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Although only 5 miles away from Hyde park (Hard Rock Calling reason for trip). Traffic very busy and cost £22.00 - £25.00 per taxi jouney. However very convenient for bus journey instead as bus route directly outside hotel.
